| blah blah overrated I hate phones these days, it's like they do everything but make calls, considering they can't even do that right.

Good, As odd as it sounds, I don't want a phone to make calls. I want one to combine photos, videos, texting and music playing in one device that I can also program for at a reasonable fee.

Good, As odd as it sounds, I don't want a phone to make calls. I want one to combine photos, videos, texting and music playing in one device that I can also program for at a reasonable fee. |
You can do that, and much more, with a laptop.

i also can't run a stable version of android on my laptop, and I enjoy being able to test an app I make on the type of device I intend it to be used on.

| Decided not to get too carried away. I'll be getting an LG Thrill 4g instead. No 720p screen, but I'll be able to get rooted gingerbread on it and I can take 3d pics and video in 720p. I also won't have to spend 100 bucks, it's free with my upgrade, so I'll be able to get the archos 48 I wanted with 500gb of storage.
