What is the cheapest way to get there? Time is not that big of an issue. I looked for a ferry ride but couldn't find much. Plane tickets are $628 minimum, usually $800.

Also anything on applying for citizenships? Can I just get a VISA or whatever?

You can get a train ride from pretty much any place in Europe to Sweden for under 50 dollars.

You can do what I do and just lay down a really long piece of plywood across the Atlantic, and then ride a motorcycle across it. ~6 minutes tops and it's free if you've got alot of trees in your neighborhood.
