canada's 70's are B's and 80's are A's.
Honor roll for us is two semester's averages put together, and if overall is 80, ta fucking da. So all I need this semester is a 82 average.
Universities here accept fucking 60's.
These are great marks for some. |

Here if you don't take all AP courses and get a 5.0 you're fucked.

not in my high school. 80's here is a A and the honor roll is based on the final average of both semesters, while the principles list is all classes 80+
depending on what course you want in university, some courses in Canadian universities do not have a cut off, thus you can have a average of 70 to 80, but some courses with 50's, and still get accepted, or fuck, some courses require 70's and people get in with 65 averages. |
Oh, thought Ontario had standards for the school districts.
