hey fellas. im having bit of a problem. i found one old trainer, but it seems like that owner is not very cooperative and only way to get something out of it, is to reverse it. reverse because im not interested what he has, he obviously copied it off of someone and is complete ass. i searched and googled and found this:

however its locked topic. well it wasn't any use (not to me). i already found what it does, but problem is rewriting the functions.
thats also how i found that "author" is not the real author, in the custom code (where trainer writes its own code), there is real author's name as comment, but no contact info :(

first i found that it goes to address1 (lets say its 11111111) and then writes jmp command there and address to jump to.

so i went to that new address and found custom code that appears on top of ?? ?? ?? ?? (not allocated memory area).

now the problem is, that this trainer doesn't always jump to same place, it seems like it randomly allocates memory each time game and trainer have been launched. same with the custom code, it's not always same. some of the addresses it jumps back to, are not same.

how do i get around this? how can i "restore" the source of this or how this have even been made? (its CE trainer as .exe).

What's with this sudden trend of reversing trainers? We will not help you to steal codes, whatever is your purpose. Just make your own cheat.

The trainer is just making use of 'alloc' and labels. Read up on how to use Cheat Engines auto-assembler.

Post the trainer you are trying to reverse and lets us see if what you said is true.

You have no right to reverse anyone's trainers especially if the author is NOT co operative about it unless its your work you think has been copied. Its funny how you say you aren't interested in what he has yet are trying to reverse and understand what he's doing.

oh so sorry, it seemed like this forum is to ask help with codes and help eachother to understand things, but seems like it is only for "show-off". to show others that you are a better "cheater" and you have more stuff than others. where have this world come to? humans are always so hostile and primitive, instead of working together, you throw stones at me when im trying to do something. instead of using a wheel that exists i have to invent it myself duo the arrogance of others. sad really ... and then you cry your eyes out if somebody breaks into your house and steals everything or beats you up on a street and then you think that "why there's so much evil in this world" < because you made it that way.

make your own trainers dont be lazy and steal work, ask other people for codes or best of all, google.

Some codes are freely published in the cheat sections, some or not. What makes you think that you have the right to steal a code if the author didn't want to publish it? Talking about evil World when you don't respect others...

As for accusing others for being "elitists", this site has hundreds of tutorials for almost any subject. I have posted cheat tables for more than a hundred game and some people like Recifense has posted even more. This site is holding information about almost every major game and you have a free awesome reversing tool, called Cheat Engine to help you with your task.

From all of these contents, you show interest in only ONE topic, which is
"Beginner's Guide to Reversing a Trainer With Cheat Engine". If it is a single player game, just post here the name of the game and what is your problem, maybe someone knows the solution. And if you are trying to hack some multiplayer game, keep in mind that this forum is not supporting multiplayer cheats at all so don't even post the name of the game.

If you bother to read, you find help. If you are lazy to learn anything and just want to steal codes, then I don't see how is that educational.

in fact trainer under discussion is one of yours Geri.
i got it working successfully.

Dark you can close this thread, but let me explain.

1. why reverse ? because Geri adds his shit and ads into trainer, which LAGS for 5 minutes before starting, just because i have no iexplorer in my pc, it tries to launch it and lags for 5 mins, thats just unacceptable for me. i want it to work when i launch it.
- zonealarm also says his trainer tries to connect into internet, which i don't allow ! another LAG comes from there. both unacceptable.

2. very poorly made trainer interface (too big, misspelling, ugly looking ..etc)
3. wrong hotkeys on trainer, i want my own for quick access.
4. i want to write my own trainers and i only needed ONE small piece of his trainer, which he refused to give.
5. i have every right to take whatever i want, because his traienr is not copyright protected. dont like geri ? then spend 10000 EUR to protect it with REAL copyrights and sue me then. as long as it doesn't have real copyright on it (protected by actual copyright LAW, not just saying its copyright does NOT make it copyright), then i dont care.

You are pretty much an idiot. And you have NEVER contacted me to give you any code. I didn't get any PMs from you, I didn't get any e-mail from you whoever you are, so I could have been hardly co-operative in anything.
My contact info is everywhere. In my trainers, on my site, you can send PMs, it isn't hard to find me.
Besides my trainers doesn't even need to be reversed because I post the cheat tables for the trainers I make, not to mention the dozen of tutorials I made to create your own trainer from scratch.
So kinda hard to believe your story.

Whatever trainer you make, I hope it will be ripped by someone and you will see why do we hate the attitude that you show here. I don't care what trainer are you doing, but do it somewhere else, because if I see that you have ripped someone's work from here, I will kick your ass.

Now it can be really closed, there is nothing to discuss with someone who has absolutely no respect towards others.

As for number 1, he is talking about the built-in ad system of Cheat Engine which is btw not my advertisement, just an option to support CE. Which I did enable in some trainers. (It is available from CE 6.1.)
I don't see how is it so tiresome to wait a few seconds before you play the game. Nobody complained that it would lag for 5 minutes, except you now.

For the rest, yes my trainers are ugly and I don't care. They are free, you get what you get. If I don't share something, it is up to me, though that is extremely rare. These are fine reasons to be mad at me. And you didn't bother to even send me an e-mail or PM or whatever before you opened this topic so yeah, I am an asshole for not replying to your request.

this is a community full of people that are breaking the rules of the games they cheat at, or other 'devious' tasks, but frown at helping someone cheat another cheater?

logically, the fastest and easiest path to your goal is the best one, regardless of some individuals moral-barriers, which hinder them and make them sheeple compared to the sociopaths who will/do rule most of the world.

if the fastest and easiest path to get your goal is to steal someone elses cheats rather than take the time and do it yourself, then there is no reason not to ask how to do this, as if you were in an isolated room with 100,000 other people all trying to get what they wanted, and you were the only one that would go for the fastest/easiest path, you win, they lose. and that's all that really matters in a universe without morals. don't be bothered by the lesser minds of commoners.
