HTML is probably the easiest language, it also has the least amount of features as far as I'm concerned.
Everything you need to know right here:

Yeah as I am reading all about it on this website and how to do it, I am actually really upset with myself for using fucking wordpress blogs and what not. I figure the only complication comes into play when you add sliders and what not into websites.

Any advice on the difficulty of fading/highlighting objects or slider menus?

Yeah, learn javascript.
Or actionscript.
HTML is obsolete for visual functionality.

Hmm well let me ask you this since I have very little knowledge of making web pages.

Will HTML be incorporated with javascript and actionscript, or will it just be either javascript or actionscript being used to create a professional looking website?

HTML would be the container for Flash, PHP would be the container for JS preferably.

Hmmm... Interesting. Ok.

SO much more to learn now. I figure I will use a basic HTML webpage as a filler until I learn more.

When I have a domain name and I was looking to just solely run an HTML page which hosting would you consider to be the best bang for my buck? Let us assume it will get a moderate amount of traffic.

Also, guys, I'm learning PHP at w3school right now, any tips? I'm pondering if date is a set value in PHP which, by default will grab the date on the server.
