no cause we hit our ram limit and the nether takes up shitloads so I figured I'd disable that until we get more.

No, we're having VPS issues, this is a problem with the host so I've contacted them.
It's not the MC server that's crashing every few hours but the VPS itself.
Hopefully they'll give us free credits or something, like when your internet goes down and comcast gives you a free month.

And really, redstone shouldn't use that much memory unless you're building an high repeating zero delay system. Which, to be honest, none of you would know how to do.
