| Got the main, core classes coded up and testing now. Should I prioritize desktop or applet development? An applet version would be pretty much exactly like my old desktop version, whereas the new desktop version would utilize multiple tracks, saveable custom scales directory, etc.

Start it out as 10 dorra see how well it sells, increase price according to results.

I don't think it's worth anything honestly, I'm just happy releasing it for free feedback. I'm also not nearly good enough at programming to cater to customer's demands and improvements. This is currently just a hobby, and I feel anything produced should be opensource. If I was doing something incredibly new, I would maybe think of selling it. I'm just using a different type of fractal and music system to create melodies than the norm. Feedback and input to drive my hobby are payment enough in themselves.
Will have an applet version up tomorrow to test out all the classes, then i'll start working on a proper desktop version. Still open for input guys :)

I meant that I have no formal education in programming. I start college in the fall though, so possibly around my sophomore year i'll revisit this and other projects and maybe sell them. As of right now, I don't think I could.

| I'm interested in how you made this. I read a book on Java this week and it's actually quite a fun language. Seems like one I'll stick with as well so any tips and tricks would be lovely.
