maybe he finishes high school at age 16, then does 'college', then goes to real college at 18 or whatever age it is over there. |

In the US you graduate from high school at 18 and if you're rich you can go straight to a University, but most people spend 2 or 4 years at a College and then transfer to a Uni.
I started College 5 years ago, but I've only been going part time (~8 credits/semester) until last year, this year I've been doing ~14 credits/sem, 12 being full time.
I also do a course or two in the summer, so I'm on track to have a degree and transfer to Uni next fall.
I'll be 18.

sorry, was high. what i meant was while i'd like to finish college and be done with it at the same time i'd like to stay longer so that i don't have to go off into the working world. will definitely go back to school for a masters though. |
