Kay, you know when you wipe your computer clean, where it's factory settings and nothing on it, like you just got it from best buy? Yeah, I wanna do that, but I wanna keep a few specific programs (Sims 3 and a few expansion packs for it, along with some custom content for it) How would I go about doing this? I don't have any memory USB stick thingies that can hold that amount of stuff. Thanks ^.^

You can't. Just redownload the stuff when you're done.

1. make a separate partition
2. put all the stuff you want to keep on there
3. wipe the original partition
4. reformat with a clean OS.

Very easily possible... common sense actually.

And what about the registry? When he reformats it would be cleaned and he'd have to reinstall stuff again anyways.

iirc it's really easy to backup and restore the registry
