but i have the link of the video?

You simply can't unless another user downloaded the video and re-uploaded it elsewhere.

Good luck finding a site that's ballsy enough to cache videos? massive waste of diskspace and bandwidth, not to mention potential legal issues.

I don't suppose you noticed how the page still loads the video from youtube.com? Not the cached server - and hell, it doesn't even play either.
