I do not have detailed understanding of the Virtualization technology both, AMD and Intel, offers; however, they both are moving towards the same goal and may provide the same benefits. Will DBVM ever support AMD virtualization technology?

While they aim to do the same thing, the implementation is slightly different between the two (different instructions, values, bits, etc...)
currently dbvm is working on all the systems that I have (intels) but perhaps if there is more request for dbvm features by amd owners I could probably buy a amd system and implement the amd version for dbvm
For now it's mainly used for 64-bit interrupt hooking(kernel debug and stealthedit) and 64-bit kernel api intercepting. (And when booted from start able to load the driver when you forgot to enable unsigned driver support, and of course direct hardware access in usermode)
