well, i'm new here, i never used CE yet, but it's because i don't know if AVG will see it as a Virus.

Only thing you can do is download it and give it a whirl. If you are seriously that worried, grab VMWare and install Windows to a VM and install CE there to test.

I've used it for awhile now and I can tell you the version I have is clean. DB has released a great tool. If you are that concerned about a virus or it getting flagged and then you freaking out then simply do not install it. It is ultimately up to you.

CE isnt virus to its virus so many peoples wouldnt use it -.-

Then download the sourcecode from the svn, find and remove the big bad virus that is supposedly in there, get the build tools and compile it yourself
