Her:"Allowing you to take that online class would be unfair to other students and would impossible for us to do with how funding is right now. Basically, the school board can't afford the $150 fee. Even if you paid yourself, we couldn't allow you to take the class."
Me:"Why not?"
Her:"People who aren't fortunate enough to pay for an online class would be at a disadvantage."
Me:"So why do you still allow people to pay band dues? Does that mean you're giving them extra privilages?
Her:"Well yes but it's not th.."
Me:"What about the people who pay for certain football equipment?"
Her:"Well.."
Me:"Or even class dues? I don't see the problem here."
Her:"B-b-because those are fees, what you're wanting to pay for is a tuition"
Me:"What makes them different in this case?"

Every stuttered word from her mouth that point on was unjustified, hypocritical crap.

I'm so pissed off right now I can barely think straight.

Give me a break. My school makes use buy our own locks from the school, for $5 a piece. When someone stole my lock in the beginning of the year, they wouldn't even give me a new lock for free, insisting that the only possible way for someone to have taken the lock is if I left it open, so it was my fault. As if I would ever do something that stupid, are they joking? Combination locks are anything but secure, and if some jerk looked up on the internet how to crack them, or even if they just brought a hammer to school, it makes perfect sense that the first lock they'd try it on would be mine, because my locker is right around the corner from the door. So yeah, I no longer have a lock, and I don't have $5 to throw in the garbage every time some jerk steals it. I did the next best thing, I picked one of the grey lockers (instead of the red ones) in the middle of the locker room where there isn't a ceiling light, and got a black shirt to wear to gym. You can hardly see that there's anything in the locker from the outside.

Same issue with the music theory class I am wanting to take.
Music theory year 3 doesn't have enough people wanting to take it either so it sucks.

Often teenagers believe conversations went their way when they try to recall it. I'm pretty sure she probably answered all your questions clearly, or you just cut her off when she was explaining it to you. And the 'hypocritical crap' was probably her supplying you with valid arguments which you didn't hear because the attention span of a teenager is extremely short.
