The fact that the breaks didn't work caused the car accident in the first place.
Not to mention, not wearing a seat belt is nothing more than a secondary offense where I live.

Did I miss the part where they upped the fine for driving without a windshield to the five digit area? Or are you saying that them breaking the law voids the claim? If so, then you're not making any sense. The law isn't like a double negative, where two negatives turn into a positive. Unless they can prove that because the car was devoid of a windshield, the breaks didn't work. I highly doubt that to be the case though.

Not saying it'd void the claim I just find it rather hypocritical to be fucking idiots and not wear a seatbelt when you have no windshield.

I would fucking love to rent a car that wasn't inspected correctly and then get into a car accident where I wasn't seriously injured. Would sue those motherfuckers for sooooooooooo much.
