How do I cheat?

Please help me. I am having some huge problems with the newest version of CE. The problem consists of showing me Active instead of Frozen in the editing tabs. And also, when i try to modify a value, i press ok and i hear an error sound and nothing happens.

And also, how can you hack the SPECIAL for Lionheart: legacy of the crusader? I tried scanning using All (byte to double) and with the increase, decrease unknown initial value. No results so far (with the last i got 26 results, I couldn't get any less, no matter what and froze them all. No results, as I said)
