So like, I was bored as fuck at school like a month ago and for the lulz i filled out some application for the army/marines/whatever because some dude came in the class and I just felt bad for him.
anyways, like an idiot, i included my home, phone, and email address~
the first week i got a bunch of spam mail and even a few calls. I said i wasn't interested and that i changed my mind, they stopped calling for two days.
Then they started again with the emails and home mail, but I just ignored them. And now today some douchebag in a suit full of "i did something stupid and got a medal for it" medals came to ask some personal questions to get me hooked onto his marine crap.
How to stop this? _________________

Not an armyfag, but here's probably the most effective way to settle shit.
The next time a guy comes to your door / You get mail, pretend to be interested and ask what recruitment agency they're sponsored by.
Call the agency, tell them that you are NOT interested, and that if they bother you again you'll file a lawsuit for harassment. Give them your address and number (since they have it already) so they know who the fuck to take off their list. |

I was considering the Marines for a while a few months ago so I went through the same stuff you're going through now. Best way to solve it is to just tell him you aren't interested anymore. Just say you found something else you wanted to do with your life. |

U.S. Airforce wants me. I'm all like "That's a big decision, don't expect me to come up with an answer within the next 4 years."
4 days later, I get another call from the Airforce... fucking hung up on them. _________________

I wish they'd send me stuff, I intend on joining the military after my second year of college. _________________
