Haha, no I'm a junior right now(though I did do a page of long division, as well as solve for variables when I was in 2nd) but since you said that, I have made a matrix encryption program the day after I started teaching myself C++ Very Happy

And @Aviar, I'm not sure what you mean by non-inclusive. The simple fact is that the gifted teachers are unable(I assume by law or confidentiality) to give me my exact number, so must instead give me a range. And people boast about putting eggs in ramen noodles in this board...I honestly don't care Very Happy

They can't give you the exact score because they probably don't know the exact value, so he ballparked it. Even more likely, the test approximates instead of trying to give a definitive value. The more general the scope, the more likely it is to be correct.

Being that the test was funded by the National gifted program, and was proctored by one of the few companies certified to give true IQ tests, as well as the fact that both of my parents recall being told a number, I assume the test was completely legitimate(which you don't seem to think) and that the order of confidentiality is along the lines of Teacher->Parent->Child

Also, she said that she had my score but couldn't tell me and INSTEAD gave me my deviation and approximate location in it. Did she ballpark it? I'll humor you and say yes. Did she know the exact score? definitely.

It creates music using self similarity. Here is a link http://www.mediafire.com/?tr0rfxdn1vndz6d To use it, just input a string of f, +, and -. Each f plays a note, + and - raises or lowers the note in the chosen scale. Chord modes will play chords based on strings of concurrent fs like "fff++ff++fff" The order is how many times the fs are replaced with the generator string. The tempo is, well, the tempo. While altering values you can see a preview of the approximate time to play it as I have not implemented multi-threading and the program hangs while playing the melody. You can save melodies with .midi format

The program is in java, so make sure your JRE is updated.

As an example, use the string "f----f++f+f--f+f++f++++f" with F# as root note, Order2, Melodic Minor(D) as scale, and no chord mode with a tempo of 380

I am still in the process of making and testing this. This is still a fairly early version, but has been tested on multiple linux, mac, and windows machines, so If you could provide feedback, that would be great.

Honestly, due to money issues, I'm probably just going in-state to ULL. My school is in fact quite stupid. But the Gifted class normally takes Advanced Math next, but I chose to do pre-calc to get that credit out of the way for college

Again, why must you make these assumptions? Honestly, I'm sorry that my colleges list pre-calc as one of their classes. I'm sorry that my guidance counselor only gets off her fat ass for athletes, I'm sorry that 60% of my classmates opt out of normal curriculum. I'm sure if I lived wherever the hell you live, things might be different, I may be graduating high school in 8th grade and learning how to fly like you,but the fact remains that I live in south louisiana. If you'll grasp the fact that happenings like this make me a bit happy because of the sheer contrast to my environment, maybe you wouldn't be such a dick and realize that I posted this out of enjoyment and the need to share it because no one cares in Louisiana.
