Haha, no I'm a junior right now(though I did do a page of long division, as well as solve for variables when I was in 2nd) but since you said that, I have made a matrix encryption program the day after I started teaching myself C++ Very Happy

And @Aviar, I'm not sure what you mean by non-inclusive. The simple fact is that the gifted teachers are unable(I assume by law or confidentiality) to give me my exact number, so must instead give me a range. And people boast about putting eggs in ramen noodles in this board...I honestly don't care Very Happy

They can't give you the exact score because they probably don't know the exact value, so he ballparked it. Even more likely, the test approximates instead of trying to give a definitive value. The more general the scope, the more likely it is to be correct.

Being that the test was funded by the National gifted program, and was proctored by one of the few companies certified to give true IQ tests, as well as the fact that both of my parents recall being told a number, I assume the test was completely legitimate(which you don't seem to think) and that the order of confidentiality is along the lines of Teacher->Parent->Child

Also, she said that she had my score but couldn't tell me and INSTEAD gave me my deviation and approximate location in it. Did she ballpark it? I'll humor you and say yes. Did she know the exact score? definitely.

And how did you get that I didn't think it was legitimate? Making a test determine a general value is a valid method, and neither credits or discredited and exam as being legitimate. As to whether they are or are not allowed to tell you your own exam score, I would assume that the teacher would be allowed to disclose your own score, in fact, if it was a matter of confidentiality, you would be legally entitled to the results, having been the one to take the exam.

P.S.: How do you determine whether an IQ test is true or not?

Oh my bad, I thought you were insinuating that the test was phony. And I wish I knew why she couldn't tell me, but all 3 of my gifted teacher couldn't. And I don't know if they are true or not, but it isn't like there are many different ways of proctoring an IQ test. It's the same as the ACT or SAT. Companies certified to proctor it all receive the same material with which to do it, and all scores are tallied the same way. I'm sticking with true, because to say it is false is to say the ACT score I got is false...and I WOULDN'T want that at all.

Also: I'm not trying to be a dick, just answering your 20 Q

Honestly, due to money issues, I'm probably just going in-state to ULL. I've received an invitation to Rochester Institute of Technology, but I'm( WEHY DAON HURR IN LOOOSIANA) and my family doesn't apply for financial aid. I've also got stuff from places like Reed and Washington State(?) don't really remember. Where ever I go though, I plan on Majoring in computer Science with a concentration in Software Engineering. While I would like to go to RIT, any extra money is currently going towards me attending Stanford's gifted summer program for Artificial Intelligence.

you come back a cyborg, most of your body parts have been replaced, you use your brain to control an electric chair that has replaced your legs. your brain only has the capacity to work like those toys you see playing soccer against each other

That would be slightly ironic though Very Happy

Unfortunately the (DAON HURR IN LOOSIANA) aspect holds me back a bit so we only touched on sets last semester, but I'm in gifted pre-calc next year so yea.

I recommended reading a bit on your own, AI: A Modern Approach is a great book for starting out. Should get you up and running with the basics.
