I connected my usb on my laptop and pc but is says "please insert disk" everytime i try to open it

i tried google but those results dont work for me
i also cant format my usb

Are we talking about a thumb drive? Boot Windows to Safe Mode, connect the device see if it still says the same thing. Have you had it connected to a foreign computer, one from school or a friends house, maybe on a different OS. You could try to reformat the device. The first thing I would try is to read the device from a LiveCD.

Open up the Disk Managagement thing (It's in device management -- Right click Computer(or My Computer) -> Click Manage)

Can you see the drive in there?

eather the USB entrance on your computer does not work or the memory usb is not longer working..try it out in a different computer to see or try it in a different entrance
