Can someone tell me which model to purchase, I currently have $350 in my bank account to spend on whatever.
Used or not used? I don't want to get something that isn't jailbreakable.
Once I purchase one I'm planning on Jailbreaking it so I can play pirated games, home brew, and games that aren't for my region. If someone could provide a tutorial on doing this, that would be great.

I don't really care about PSN, I just want to pirate some games, and enjoy some Japanese/Korean RPGs that aren't in the US.

Didn't know that..
I'm used to the Xbox which has the normal region system, and it can't even play games when it's hacked unless you patch the xex with regionfree hax which usually slowdown the game.

I'll go ahead and buy a used fat.
Do you recommend any specific firmware? GeoHots - blocks piracy?, kmeaws, PS3ITA, PS3 Naima, or some other firmware that I'm not aware of.

But neither are as big as wii. Once you get over the whole graphics thing it has a lot of fun games to play and pirating on it works fine since you dont need latest firmware to play online. Games can be updated without updating the firmware for the system menu and system menu updates can be skiped with a simple patch.

I'm assuming you didn't see that many games, because most of them are too pixelated?
Also, buy a PS3 PHAT or SLIM, that has Firmware 3.55 or below. Custom firmware can be installed on anything lower than 3.56.

I've got a phat on 3.55 with a bad disc drive I'd be willing to sell if I wasn't so insecure about you fucks getting my address, way too much shit would become clear then.
