Well, I am trying to use the Lua Engine on a online game (roblox) and it uses Lua also. So, when I try doing a script like:

f = Instance.new("ForceField")f.Parent = game.Workspace.The0neThe0nly

It comes up in output as;

error:[string "f = Instance.new("ForceField")f.Parent = ga..."]:1: attempt to index global 'Instance' (a nil value)

I'm pretty sure the reason for this is because the Lua Engine does not know the Metadata.

I am wondering if there is a way for CE to know the Metadata?
( I have the Metadata it is in .xml form )

CE doesn't hook onto the games Lua engine. So you wont be able to access the games objects inside of CE's Lua engine. (Unless you do some extreme amount of work that in the end wouldn't even be worth doing lol.)

well, if you're able to map the entry points of the most important lua functions (e.g aobscan) and do a hook to capture the luavm pointer it should be possible to call lua functions using the game's own lua engine
