just wait until minecraft.net is up...
BTW: I found out the reason why minecraft.net is down all the time
Notch is actually working.
The new launcher works and logs you in.

That's been working, started working way before the downtime.
Also yeah, server keeps timing out now, can't login.
EDIT: I just logged in, but... it's reverted back to a previous save or something.

Up2Admin: it had many issues and didn't work properly. ppl couldnt log in a lot and needed to use the old launcher.
