Friend is looking to buy a laptop off another friend. I'm not massively sure about laptops but I offered to help. Unable to get full specs, all the information I have is;

2 ghz dual core proccessor
2gb ddr2 or 3 ram
new 80gb hardrive sata III, wi fi, windows 7

Asking £200 for it.

It's only going to be used for school work, internet and talking to people, so no games.
(I'll update as we get more info)

Any help would really be appreciated.

Well at the moment they say they have less than 80gig and they find it fine. Like I said, they are only using it for writing/college work, talking and internet so don't really need a massive amount of space.

Edit - So apart from the memory everything seems ok?

Try and get it down to 160 at least, it's not really worth 200 preowned. 160 would be a good deal, though.

Hell, I used to do that on my old P2.
