So i've heard alot of good things about modding, hacking, jailbreaking (whatever) your video game consols. Well I have a PSP, and I wanted to stay loyal to this forum, so does anyone know how to do it? or know where a tut is?

To jailbreak it? Or physically mod it (LEDs and such?)

From what i've read (mostly google) they use them interchangeably. But jailbreak.

I guess I was reading the idiot's posts. . .

If your system is below firmware 6.2, MANUALLY update it by downloading it, placing it on the memory stick.

Post back here if you can't figure it out, it's real simple, only a couple files needed and a bit of intelligence. Recently jailbroke my PSP, works like a charm.

okay. I've installed all of the stuff and need to know how to use it Xd

Once you copy the pormetheus ISO loader to PSP/GAME file. What are the backup games? and i don't seem to have an ISO folder. I have MP root and mln root, but neither have ISO in it. . .

I also have no idea what to do after I get it all installed.

You have to make the ISO folder, it goes directly on the root drive.

Then put the games you want to play inside of it, PSP accepts ".iso" and ".cso" (.cso is a compressed .iso)

You'll either have to rip them then, which I don't know how to do or download copies of your games (you own the original, so it should be legal)
