Ok so, I decided to plunk 3 renders on and try new text i just downloaded and because Scorpion and Sub Zero were stood like that i thought "ICE & FIREBALL TIME!" so.. here it is! Using a tutorial on youtube, i made a fireball and an iceball. This took me about 1 hour 15 minutes.

What the heck is inb4 shitstorm? And yeah, im on to that.. What am i supposed to use for background? White brushes?! Any tips on backgrounds?
Or should i just put a massive MORTAL KOMBAT sign in the background?

I can't add a background because there's black around the characters which makes it look gay. When i try to make the black around them transparent, it deletes some of the character.

In that case, use the pen tool rather than the wand tool
