So I got a new laptop recently, and like usual, it came with a shit ton of bloatware.

I've gotten rid of most of it already, but I can't seem to get rid of the McAfee Trial Suite. I can't find anything that can be used to uninstall it in program files, and when I try to just delete the folders, it keeps saying that I need to have administrator permission to do it (I am on the admin account).

Is there anyway to get rid of this thing without reformatting my laptop?

I mean, only two ways are uninstalling it and reformatting. Pick whichever one you think is less effort. If you have something like McAfee, you're pretty much limited to the latter.

Mcafee does have a removal tool.

As far as not being able to delete folders as the admin, if you don't own them, admin or not you aren't deleting them anytime soon. Try taking ownership of them.
