I personally find this pretty-fucking-scary, and every possible explanation so far sounds like a load of crap.

From that link I wouldn't exactly run screaming it's the end of the world. The site lacks any kind of link-back to the articles to support the claims let alone dates. A parallel that needs to be there to determine relation.

As far as Arkansas goes, my question is which died first birds or fish. Since the birds fell from the sky, it's entirely possible the entire flock was infected. If however, the fish death was first, I'd strongly suggest the dead fish had something to do with the mass bird death.

If after the autopsies on the animals finds no reasonable cause for deaths in any of the animals then it may be time to re-evaluate your religious stance.

Also weather cannot be ruled out. Tornadoes have been known to make frogs rain from the sky that were sucked up. The same could have happened to the birds.

Who really knows though.

I've also remember watching a movie in a scene where birds starts to fall from the sky, forgot what movie it was.

I happened to have read an article about this yesterday, now it's being discussed here.

Perhaps the birds, died, fell into a river, fish got infected, died. Hopefully a bunch of chinese people drink the water, there halfs the worlds population. Very Happy

There could be causality between the deaths of fish and birds. Fish die, they contain a swim bladder that allows them to adjust the depth they swim by filling the sack with air, similar to a submarine. When they die this bladder inflates which is why dead fish tend to float tits up. Fish was up, birds will eat the fish, or at the very least feed on the insects eating the fish. That would draw a parallel between the deaths. Turn it the other way around, birds die from disease, some fall into the rivers, ponds, streams, fish eat the birds as they decompose, fish become ill and die.

Of course this only explains Arkansas not the rest of the world. Still very interesting.
