anyone knows a trusted site where i could find those in stock n new? the usual sites i use are all sold out for some time now, im guessing they don't produce em anymore? I rly want a cheap 5.1 setup and Newegg had em for like 90$+shipping and i missed my chance =/

They don't produce them anymore, it's been replaced with the z506.
I have a pair of x-540's and I recently got a pair of z323's and I can tell you that the 360 degree sound shit on their new Z series of speakers really doesn't produce a 360 degree sound feeling..
Also these speakers have no highs at all, compared to the x-540's, these sound pretty muffled, only reason I got them was because you can hook up your xbox+pc at the same time with these.
The z506 probably is equivalent to the x-540 though, so you might wanna take a look at those.

i already looked up the z506's as well but i wanted to mount em on a wall and the x-540 have a built in wall mount and the z506 don't. Also from the reviews i read, z506 have a buzzing noise when idle n other stuff mentioned in quite few reviews. The x-540 has other features i like so thats why im trying to get meh hands on em. =/

I got some z 2.1, they say zzzzzzz, when the sub is on, but idle.

The 540's are your best bet, you'll still find them in odd stores and on the internet, the speakers serve me well for music, games, movies. (When I get away with having them on I mean, people bitch at me because of the sub)
