Simple question:
What's the best video card on newegg that I can get on a $200 budget?

Honestly that looks terrible, I was thinking a radeon 6000 and I was wondering if a 6850 is good enough for the latest games at max settings and stuff.

By all means. When I searched newegg I got shit. I didn't see half these cards. Might be out of stock for me. AT any rate, this one has a decent clock and its higher than others. Most have 775, this has 820.

edit: nvm I guess it fits fine, and there's a $15 rebate on that one so I think I'll get it.
Cheers.

It's PCI express 2.0, does that mean it won't fit my mobo? |
You wouldn't spend 10 bucks for a SIGNIFICANTLY more powerful card? There isn't anything super duper special about the 6000 series.

Significantly?
Looked the same to me.
Anyway newegg says the saphire is pci express 2.0, but the box says it's 2.1
I guess it's fine either way but I hate how newegg gets shit wrong.

PCIE 2.0 is the current revision of PCIE. You have it. When a card advertises "PCIE 2.1", it means that the card is made for PCIE 2.0, but the bonus is that the card will ALSO be compatible with PCIE 3.0, WHEN IT COMES OUT (it has not yet). There is no "PCIE 2.1 slot". It's just a feature of the card. The catch, however, is that PCIE 3.0 is so far off at this point, you won't be using your old video card by the time you have your shiny new PCIE 3.0 motherboard, so it's pointless to buy a weaker card just because it'll fit in PCIE 3.0 3 years from now.
So shut the fuck up about PCIE 2.0 and 2.1 since it means nothing. jklol
I posted you a link to an XFX 5850. Hero posted a link to a Sapphire 6850. They are two completely different cards, just as different as a Phenom 805 and a Phenom II 925.
The 5850 is better than the 6850. Period. It's drivers are well ripened, it's more powerful, etc. For 210 bucks it's a wicked steal. This is the "best" video card you can get for ~200 dollars.

Stop changing my mind, now I have to get that one :[
But yeah I guess you're right, it clocks a bit slower though so I guess I'll have to oc which I never do.
But it's actually only $185 after rebate and I get another $15 back on top of that, so it seems like the best deal.
Thanks phox and everyone.
