Wait, wait, a SPARK came out of the port? Like an electric spark? Or is there some language barrier there?

It's normal with a red spark, when you put in a jack in, but don't put anything thing in WHILE playing sounds.

Sounds like something in your case isn't grounded.

If you built the computer yourself, you might want to take everything out and reseat them into the case again to make sure they are set properly and snug. Also, if the motherboard and case came separate make sure you are using the connector plate that came with the motherboard and not still using the one that came with the case.

In 15 years building and using computers, I have never seen a spark come from an audio port.

I've seen a few in my 10 years. It's never a good sign.

@OP, you really needed to use that plate rather than the cases default, you should look for it =/
