Friend has a Turtlebeach headset, it's alright. I'm not brainwashed, I've actually never seen an advertisement and I've only heard people complain about them (mostly because of the price). But yet I'm drawn to Alienware, for a deeper reason than performance or looks, a memory I have.
I've had no problem with their keyboard and mouse so far, they've actually surpassed my expectations. I'm hoping the same can be said for the headset.

What you have to understand is that, in this day and age, a company that decides to make a product has two choices. They can either
1. Try to the best of their ability to make as good of a product as possible(emphasis on product).
Examples: Logitech, Seinheiser, AMD, AVG, ESET
2. Make a decent product and advertise the fuck out of it (emphasis on market).
Examples: Razer, Apple, Dell/Alienware, Norton, McAfee
(These apply to non-technology-based companies as well).
In my opinion, basic rule of thumb as far as mice go, when comparing two mice, if one is Logitech, it's better. Seriously they really know how to make a good fucking mouse. Other companies, like Razer/Alienware, know how to make it LOOK like they make a good fucking mouse, but really it's nothing special. Buyer's remorse is a hard thing to reach, don't worry you'll get there.

Get yourself a sennheiser for casual outdoor stuff, a turtlebeach if you're a hardcoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooore gamer.

So no one here has one, or has tried one on? I'm not looking for suggestions on other headsets, I AM getting the TactX headset. Of course I won't be paying for it though, I'll get my uncle to buy it or something.

now if you want headphones, dont half way it and get some "SUPER QUALITY $150 HEADPHONES" either get $30 ones or go all the way for like $400 ones
