oh gawd ;_;
even I, the biggest PC retard, managed to set up a working PC with minimal probs.
only prob I had at first was finding what was compatible with what.
once I had the pieces, i got lost with the manuals and somehow ended up building a working system that works beautifully :0
if I can do it, you can do it.

Go on newegg.com and set the price limits to max 1500 or 2000 in the desktop sections...browse through and look at reviews and pick one that suits you.
