I pretty much want a new camera. I shoot HD videos, as well as take stills, so i was kind of leaning towards the Nikon D5000. Well, what do you guys think? Anything better for around the same price range?

I use a Canon eos d500, and well its awesome  only problem is that it does not ue a stabliziser in video shots :/

| I've been looking into getting a camera as well. I've pretty much decided on the Nikon D5000. I haven't shot with it, but I've held it is the store and shot with similar Nikon models. From the research that I have done it seems like a very good option.

Yeah. It does actually. But now im starting to consider the Nikon D3100. Its just been announced, but it seems nice. It supports 1080p video, and has more manual control from what iv heard.

Narrowed it down to the upcoming Nikon D3100 or the Canon T2i =/ Still cant choose >
