I have used fraps for quite some time , but it is a pain in the ass working with files my computer has problems handling (Retarded high bitrate).

So anyone know a fast way to compress/shave of the size without ruining the quality?

Not sure but do you know how to compress files? if you compress it 10GB can be 7GB or something. goodluck though.

By compress he really means to reencode to a lower bitrate. Fraps I think by default encodes to avi. Try anything that will convert from fraps default to a lighter encoder.

okay, let me reformulate. Fraps got a retarded high bitrate (picture: 300355 kbps; audio: 1411 kbps). So a 10 sek file gets 60 mb big...

So, what can i use for getting the size smaller, but not hurting the quality (to much).

any advisable compressors/converters?

the encoding fraps uses is meant for speed, not actual compression.
