Something's clearly not right here. In my processes, I find iexplore.exe under the user SYSTEM, when it is usually under the logged in user. I tried scanning, and sniffing through its folders, any suggestions on how to get rid of it?
Take reformatting out of the question. I wish to do so, but I do not know how to reformat Windows 7. Since I cannot validate it after reformatting.

Anything on your system like Google Toolbar, Yahoo Toolbar or Weather bug, I've seen these install BHO's and do some nasty stuff. At work we bar these totally and when we find a user with one they don't like what comes next. We reimage their machine then and there.

Good, I hate these toolbars, they are always causing troubles and users are surprised how their 425 installed plugins may cause any problem.

I get on my wife for using them at home. The other day she was defragging her laptop complaining how it was running slow. I told her a defrag won't help, she uses all those little crapwares that alone are innocuous but when you get several they can make the most powerful CPU chug along.
Currently I have 59 processes running, using 1% CPU, and 10% of physical memory. (16 gigs atm) I'm watching alot of traffic going over our network to her machine, I've been man in the middle attacking her machine for a few days to get a look at the traffic, and I see alot of stuff is for toolbars. Facebook games that install bho's and the like.
