Hey there

Im searching for some possible values for a static address...
I found about 20 Million never changing values...
Just need each of them 1 time

So ist it possible to filter the values, so that there is each value only 1 time
in the found value list?

You just need one of them? Which one?

no...

i have a static address which can have many different values.
i want to know all possible values, the static address can have.

Now i was searching for these values, but even after some
limitation of memory addresses there are still 10.000 found values.

But from this 10.000 values there are many values 5 times in it.
I want to filter these 10.000 values, so that every value appears 1 time.

understand?

Edit: is it possible to sort the lst after values?

it would be completely useless, as every value from 0 to 4294967295 will be in that list

Please do not be offended, sir, but I wonder if you're getting the terms address and value backwards. Perhaps, if you could offer more details about your process, it would be easier to help.

i know where the current player model (character) is stored in memory.

at the moment i have 2 different player models available.
they have an hash to identify (10 digits long)

I am just trying to find out what possible other hashes
are used for higher level player models.

Any way to find this out?

memory scanning won't help here, you'll have to debug
find out the code that accesses the hash, and then set a "find what addresses this code accesses" breakpoint on that code

first i tried 'find out what writes to this address'
- but nothing appeared in the list

after that i tried 'find out what accesses this address'
- and i got 4 entrys (mov [...]) in the List

But if i scan for that pointer, no values are found. o.O

Edit: the address where the hash is located, is static...
dunno if it is relevant to this problem

This is always a little confusing, but what DB is suggesting you do is add each of the "hits" you got when you asked "what accesses this address" to the code list by clicking the button to do so. Then, click on "Advanced Options", and double-click your codes. For each one, one at a time, you should right-click the relevant code and choose, "find what addresses..." This will give you a list of all the hashes that this particular piece of code is accessing.

Of course, if you can't select the missing outfits then you might not ever see the addresses you're interested in. You might try, instead, to figure out what bits of code are being used when you change between the outfits that you've already purchased and look there for a filter that determines which outfits you're allowed to access. If you can search (possibly requiring unpacking) the textures that ship with the game for player models, then you might be able to go about it that way instead.

Cheers,

My humble tip is to start slowly. Avoid throwing yourself into code analysis when you don't have clearly understood the very basics (how memory looks like and works). It'll only be more confusing both for you (because you'll get random errors and you won't even be able to name things the proper way for us to help you.. notice how you use the terms value, (static) address and hash. You're confusing them, a lot. Avoid going on as it'll get harder to grasp them the proper way.) and for us (because we won't be able to understand what you're trying to tell us).
