I was talking to this guy the other day who told me that his friend had spent $15,000 building a laptop that was "as good as a macbook pro", and that it was still lacking in some areas, and for fucks sake it costs $15,000.
I said that his friend was obviously mentally challenged, because in order to spend $15,000 on parts for a laptop, he'd have to drop it in a mineral oil cooling system and essentially make it into a desktop.
So check this out, I go to apple.com for once, and check out prices on a macbook pro.
I pick out some decent specs:

And yeah. Do you know how much a shitty ipod touch costs? They're marketing it as a handheld gaming system but good games on the thing are few. I mean, I've played many great games on the Itouch, but definitely not enough to buy a new one.

I know right, the N900 is definitely better than the Droid and iPhone.

Hell man, it's bad to the point that it's in a war against it's own japanese knockoffs. I can buy a $15.00 plastic touchscreen device which has just about every function as the Ipod touch- the appstore, but this thing can ALSO play NES games! Yeah, unless you spend a few hours hacking your ipod touch that's not going to happen elsewhere.

Where Nokia N900 beats Motorola Droid

As if it matters, ffs makes no difference.
* FM Radio/Transmitter
I think I prefer my digital radio system over old fashion FM radio, not counting that there's an app for FM radio anyway.
* Better Keyboard
True that the droid's qwerty is pretty small and flat, but I got used to it in no time and was posting here on CEF at normal speed.
Not a huge deal.
* Better Camera
Again, pretty much the same.
* Larger memory
*Storage, different than memory, and if you really need 32gb just buy a bigger sd card, but if you're smart like me you'll just set it up to transfer all files to an ftp server for unlimited space in the first place.
Can't do that outside of android, can you?
Besides, that's comparing to the original Droid, the new Droid X doesn't even compare.

I was talking about the Motorola Droid, not the Droid X.
