But Hero is right, dual core AMD CPU
Got 4GB or Ram
On Assassins creed 2, it never lagged, but after installing a lot of shit, im starting to notice a little lag when I move the camera to the other side of the map.
And I know it's not my Graphics card is really good, didnt get a cheap one | Thats distance lag. When you look out too far you loads a lot more than normal on some maps. change your distance clipping to be closer.
In borderlands there is 1 map with a giant and I mean huge building. My frames drop to 30 there, but 60 everywhere else. The map is also quite large. Its definitly clipping lag. |
This much I realize, but what will help it more, ram or cpu?
Like i said this didnt happen before, so it cant be my graphics card since graphics cards doesnt lag when you install a lot of shit, it's the ram or cpu.

I would like to believe its on the graphics card end. It only happens to me in BL in that one area. It could also be other apps running using up ram. Not sure how clipping works.

What I belive is that the cpu or ram is doing the math (like what character moves where, what animation it does) and it works harder when theirs more things on the screen.
Could be wrong though

Could be wrong though | When you play a game the graphics use video ram, thus its on the graphics.

do you have vsync on? if your fps ever dips under 60, you'll end up at 30, then if under that, 20, 15...
it also introduces a nice amount of input lag.

I thought a 4770 was around a 4850? And a 5770 > 4870

Oh but isn't a 4870 overkill for AC2? So I would assume its CPU seeing as RAM doesn't play a huge factor in FPS...
