I CANT INSTALL WINDOWS VISTA!!!!! IT SAYS THAT THE INSTALLATION FILES ARE CORRUPT

in windows xp (or whatever you use) go to system32 in your windows folder (go to My Computer, then the C: drive, then WINDOWS)

After that, look for hal.dll

This is a virus many people get that isn't very harmful to your internet browsing but may corrupt the files needed for OS's to work.

After you find hal.dll, delete it, go to your recycle bin, and empty.

Reboot and now yur done!

When I Deleted my hal.dll and install windows vista from the cd it says''WIndows Setup Could not determine if this computer can install windows vista

Download the instalation files from a warez webpage and use your CD key on the installation.
