This seems more fitting for art requests; though, are you placing the C4D in correctly?

Download the image, then in Photoshop (assume you're using it), use
File>Place
then you should know what to do from there.

You're downloading effect C4Ds. They're supposed to have black backgrounds. Set the image to linear dodge.

Yes, all sorts of packs. Stock packs, C4D packs, render packs, etc. Although in the Free Resources section, you need 20 posts to get in, IIRC. But some C4D packs should be in Render packs -> Free Render packs -> Abstract 3D packs.
