Dude, why the hell would you get a 661? Unless you're not planning on gaming, it's exactly the same as the 660. It just has a faster integrated graphics which uses more power, which you wouldn't be using anyway.

It is for gaming for the most part.

Uh huh. So the features that the i5 661 offers over the 660 are useless to you, and thus you should not get it.

Why are they useless? It's $5 more anyway...

Because the only thing that's better about the 661 than the 660 is a feature you're not going to use. Should we go over this a few more times? The point is, just go with a 660 if must have a dual core. If you want the max bang for the buck though, 750 is actually even better.

Well aren't there some games and such that aren't compatible with the 750 because quad? Also, one is 32nm and the other is 45nm, would the mobo support both?

Of course, any socket 1156 mobo will support any socket 1156 processor.

Actually, you're much more likely to have a problem with the 660's hyperthreading than the 750's multi core. But don't spend any time worrying about such things.

Alright, so now that I'll have everything together, what about the casing? Any specific sizes or brands?

Looks pretty good to me as well. Also, the mobo says its PCI-E 2.0 x16 on one, and when another is placed it becomes x4. Does that affect it a lot or does it not matter whatsoever.

That means that the second pciex162.0 has lower bandwidth than 16. It doesn't matter, you don't need to do any crossfire.

coolermaster elite 310 for something cheap, or get the haf 922 if you want a sturdy case with superb airflow

Someone recommended me this case. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811129066

EDIT:

Ok, with recommendations and everything, this is what is in the cart so far. If anything should be replaced, added, or removed tell me.

Yea its a good case, many fans. I got this one myself
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811119202&cm_re=cool_master_elite-_-11-119-202-_-Product

Not sure if a regular ATX fits it, did not bother to check. I personally didn't think I needed the big fans in the front. I just got a normal case with fan area on the side. You can still get good airflow all the same.

cough, again spend $5 more on Samsung f3, 500gb, faster write time, why the fuck not
antec 300 is shit, unless you want your case to look like the one attached
Apex power supply, no rating, shit customer support.
overpriced 5770, if you want to do hardcore overclock, MSI 5770 does better.
hai guise, where's the ram?
Also, if you are purchasing off newegg, the motherboard can be combo off with the i5 750 to shave off extra $10

If you're trying to bring it around or under $600, I'd really go AMD with a Phenom. You don't even have to get the X6, just get an X4 (or that X4 that unlocks to an X6).

Fuck, even a X3 work well for gaeming, unless you are running at hardcore resolution and try to play Crysis 2 or Aion@extremepopulatedserver

Alright, I'll look at the Samsung HDD.
What other case would I get that's a good price and ATX?
Someone recommended me this or the OCed version.
I already have the RAM...
What do you mean about the combo?
