That's not unlockable to 6 cores, because its the older model.

That's not unlockable to 6 cores, because its the older model.
The 900t series is not even released yet. The 900Ts are looking to replace the older 900s.
And guys, if I try to unlock the cores, and fail, does it screw up my CPU? |
At most is you can't boot and had to reset the bios. most of the time people got it working but the temperature would be higher, had to do some voltage/ram/HT tweaking.
Again, is all gamble, bet your luck or don't. obviously i would just shell out extra $100 for hexcore and search 4chan all day with it.

They know it's fun for people like us to take a gamble and unlock the extra cores. They're not dumb party poopers like nvidia and intel.

| Well, even when they were pretending about how cool they were about people unlocking their Phenom II X3s, AMD kept pressuring mobo vendors to update their BIOS to prevent the ACC from unlocking the extra core.

That 4G, I'm 110% positive that I have seen somebody I know with that. In fact, I made a phone call with it. I didn't really pay much attention because at the time I really didn't follow iProducts, but looking back...hrmmm. Possibly an early prototype?

When it was launched, it was almost 600, and doubtful there are any carrier that charges you >$50 a month for service plan alone.
