Cheat Engine

X8 for PC(of course), refuses to let me use Wireframe made by pretending the whole screen is 2 polygons. Also, it seems to resist texture grabbing. I tried exiting CE before I clicked OK on the start program thing. I also tried stealth modes.

directX mess only works for 3d games in first person mode.
so wireframe and z buffer won't work for this 2d game
same for the aimhelper, thats why you can't grab the textures,

Z-buffer does work, I did grab textures before it decided to hate me, and it isn't 2D.

And about the first person part, GTA works just fine and it is 3rd person, so does Sonic(also 3rd person)

well if its a 3d game then z buffer and wireframe will work in 3rd person,
but according to darkbyte the aim helper only works in 1st person view,,
it was the aimhelper I was on about not working in 3rd person view,

if it's just stopped working now when it was working fine on that game before I dunno ,, maybe you have updated something thats stopped it working now,
I found that I had to rollback my video card drivers when the official update stopped my film playback working properly,,
the screen just was so dim I could only just make out that something was on at all,

I don't remember updating anything. I really don't expect AimHelper to do anything in X8, since you don't fire at the center of the screen. AimHelper does work good for running over cops with cars.

it shoulda worked try maby unistalling and reinstalling cheat engine
