This. In Blue, the last time I played it, I used a Jolteon with Thunderbolt, Thunder Wave, Thundershock, and Quick Attack.
Needless to say it raped everything in sight. Was my front pokemon.

Rock pokemon was my only weakness, nothing in my party was good against it since I didn't have any water pokemon. However I did have a haunter, so any fighting pokemon was 100% useless against it. I used it throughout the entire karate dojo, and nothing else.
