What he said.

I got the same headset for around 30-40 bucks. Good sound quality, great mic quality. Good for headbanging to music; it stays on!

PC gaming. Already got a headset for my xbox. Any site in the U.S. would be fine, trustworthy of course.

I was thinking of this combo, but wasn't too sure yet. I'm definitely getting the mouse though.

promise you, plus if you get the mouse and the headset when you get the box go to live support and then say that when you received the shipment only the mouse as inside it and when they ask you if any damage is on the packaging box "say nope it looks like brand new"

Enjoy a new backup headset and then your set for a year or more.

I think that may be what I have, how much did it cost you? I just went to Microcenter and slapped $40 on the table and walked out with something that says Plantronics.

don't get a logitech clear chat...

get this http://www.amazon.com/Technica-ATH-AD700-Audiophile-Headphones-Neodymium/dp/B000CMS0XU/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1268201135&sr=8-1

should be able to get it for around 80-100 usd, even though it's above your budget, you'd be able to keep it for a very long time, and the quality is amazing for the price, if you need a mic, just buy a clip on like the on reccomended on amazon. perfect for gaming+music.

He quoted a budget for a reason guy, your post is technically spam since it adds no/takes away value to the thread. Also you should based your opinions on experiences not just a brand :]

how is my post spam when im offering a suggestion? maybe my comment about not getting a clear chat is a little off, but my point was to give im a better option even if it isnt the budget he stated, i feel it would be a much wiser choice to get what i suggested. anyhow, i just didn't want him to go with a bad decision, i don't care if i get warned for that.

Please, if you guys are going to continue to argue at least do so via private messaging.

@Saifallofjmr I don't believe his post was spam, I hadn't thought of buying headphones and getting a clip-on mic (even though Konata Izumi had suggested it I somehow skipped it after looking over this thread numerous times). It gave me some insight and more options to what I could buy.

@drawbacK Thanks for the suggestion. I'm going to try to look into quality headphones for around 50 dollars and then get a mic after wards, if not I'll just stick to looking at the headset suggestions above.

@xiGh0stx They look really good, read some reviews and those all seem to be positive as well. Another plus side is I have a 360, so I could use it both for PC and my 360. Thanks.

@Trucido Can you link me to the headset you have? Would you recommend that I get it?

You guys have any more good headphone suggestions? Headset as well?
