Shows you your speeds, and how much bandwidth you used on the top.

Thanks, but I'm going to use the program Bill suggested me.

bandwidth is the term to describe the rate at which companies cap your speed.

When companies say unlimited bandwidth, they mean unlimited bandwidth per month.

but we all are limited by bandwidth per second (ie 10mbps)

Just because it's a different time span doesn't mean it isn't still referring to bandwidth...

Anyway, http://www.desksoft.com/BWMeter.htm

That's what i use.

Thanks for the program. Looks nice.

I have a few questions:

1. How to get rid of that fucking annoying "BEEEEEEEEPPPPP!"
2. In the "Statistics" tab, I have two things: Internet and Local Network. What is what?

2. Internet use: Torrenting 8.03GB of books on Zen Buddhism
Local Network use: Transferring them to another computer through the router with a samba share.

Bill, I have a question.

I'm interested in using this program to limit my nephews download and upload speed and there's an option for that, but how can I turn off the firewall? If it isn't a firewall, I don't know what it is, but the message that prompts you when a program tries to access the internet, when I installed it on their computer that prompt never comes up and it blocks anything on their computer that tries to block the net so I had to close the program. I've tried looking through the "Help Me", but it didn't help.
