Ratings from which association are you going by? MPAA?
V for Vendetta is a great movie but I believe the MPAA rated it R...
Star Trek, despite its nerdy stereotype, was a fantastic below R rated movie; if you believe that the people seeing it won't criticize you for it title and the stereotype that fits with it, then I strongly suggest it.
