How to double your computer speed on vista/windows 7
PROOF THAT THIS WORKS:
BEFORE______________________________________________________________________AFTER
 
Step 1:
click on the start Button and search for Windows Explorer. Now right click and select "Run as Administrator" as you can't delete the necessary files without admin rights.
Step 2:
Locate your system32 folder which should be in C:>windows>system32
Step 3:
once in system32 search for the files called hal.dll and microsoft-windows-hal-events.dll (extremely important to select both)
Step 4:
now you MUST completely remove these two files from your pc as they will continue to take up most of your computers resources until they're deleted.
Now simply restart your computer and you'll start to notice the major speed increase![/img]

So the CPU Usage and the Physical memory usage don't change? And how did you get all the other stuff to stay the same?
