Cheat Engine

When I use the tutorial, on step 5 the code finder, when i right click on the "Find out what writes to this address," it doesn't have the replace option. It isn't there...I have cheat engine version 5.3 right now....somebody help?

Click "Add to code box" or whatever it is. Then go to advanced options and it should be there. Replace it there.

that's the problem, there is no "add to code box" or "replace" button. so what should I do?

there are no buttons in the "find out what writes to this address" window, it just shows the code when u click "change value" in the tutorial.

You're right clicking on the address and then "Find out what writes to this address" right?

i have the exact same problem as this guy.. like when u click see what writes to this address or w.e the window pops up with replace, add to box options blah blah but u cant click the buttons, they r grey or white.......does this mean i got the wrong address or what..and how do u know if u found the right address or not, yes i know ima noob Sad

So you get the "The following opcodes changed..." window. So then you change the value and some code pops into the box. Click on it and then click the "Add" button.

ya i clicked the change value but nothing happened either lol i must be doing something totally wrong, when u find the address what do u do for the scan type, and the value, and the and byte, float etc...

no, that's not what i'm saying, there is no "replace button there at all, it's just a blank screen that shows a code when u change values.
