| Sometimes I dream about something that would actually happen. Why is that? |

I've experienced it at least one time.
I dreamt(?) about going to play at a friends house and I got to use the red car.(I was 7 years old)
And later that day he called me and asked if I wanted to play. Same thing happened as in the dream. |

You either dreamed of it after it happened and thought it happened before or perhaps you HAVE ESP!!
Or just luck of the draw. _________________

How often is this? You could know whats happening the next day, dream about it, and have it actually happen. _________________

| This isn't very often it happens to me but I have a few moments where I feel I have been there before/done it before. It's a very weird feeling. |

This is because our lives already happened, and we are basically just going back through our lives in our memories. _________________

| Why do I get the feeling that the majority of the people in this thread are trying to imply that just because something happened in a dream, and coincidentally later in real life (due to, as was said before, you all having predictable lives), that it somehow implies you had preemptive knowledge of it happening, as if that's even fucking possible? Use your head. |

I quite often "Dream the future" you could say. I have a dream, then a couple of weeks later it's exactly how it was in that dream. Happens every couple of days, but I have a very.... boring life, I do the same shit every day.
Probably the same for you, either coincidence or you have a daily routine of sorts. |

No it's not, it's when your left and right brain have a longer-than-usual delay between processing input and storing it, causing a false time-stamp to be put on the memory which makes it feel very weird because your brain is confused into thinking it's experiencing an old memory when it knows otherwise. |
